Do I Qualify for Services?
Good Samaritan Clinic was established to help people of all backgrounds receive needed healthcare services even if they did not have insurance. We've worked hard to make sure we are meeting the needs of everyone in Burke County. From North Carolinians starting their own small businesses to farm workers growing and harvesting in the fields of our beautiful state, Good Samaritan Clinic meets any number of needs for the community.
** If you have no private insurance, no Medicaid, no Medicare and no veteran’s benefits, then you may qualify. |
How do I know if I meet the Federal Poverty Level?
We want you to know a couple of things about the Federal Poverty Guideline (FPL). The FPL is just a number. It is the way governments determine who may need the most help based on their income and relative family size. There is a stigma surrounding the word "poverty," but those who may qualify are often hard-working entrepreneurs, lower-income earners, and parents who need help making ends meet. No matter where you are on the FPL, you are a valued member of our community.
